Full of philosophical-literary suggestions, bearers of enigmatic messages, some of these - the rebel angel with white moon of Brera and the rebel angel on a dark red background of Ascoli Piceno - hide under the pictorial surface other paintings, visible only thanks to sophisticated diagnostic investigations and in which we recognize the same mysterious female face portrayed several times by the artist.
