(The Dialogues of Brera. 11).
Description: Little known to the general public, Boccaccio Boccaccino (Ferrara?, 1462/ante 22 August 1466 - Cremona, 1525) is one of the protagonists of northern Italian painting of the early sixteenth century. The beginning of his journey, partly mysterious, takes place between the duchies of Milan and Ferrara and the city of Venice, where the artist becomes one of the most precocious and original interpreters of Giorgione.
The volume offers new proposals and research ideas on this phase of its history, which precedes the affirmation in Cremona from 1506.
